Designs I've worked on this year

Strapless tube dress with stylized bodice

Cap sleeved blue-grey cocktail dress

LBD with a stylish twist

Red and black low neck mini dress

LBD with cap sleeves and peplum detail

The first bikini I've ever designed! =)


Blue mini with slight peplum details and stylized cut-out detailing on the back.

Hey guys,
So a couple weeks ago we had a guest speaker come to our college. Laurie Holmes of the Holmes Brothers clothing brand came to tell us about himself as well as advise the fashion design students who wanted to maybe one day build their own label.

Vodacom Durban July Inspirations

This year it is compulsory for me as a 2nd year student to enter the Vodacom Durban July Young Designer competition. I'm excited about it, but I know It's going to be a challenge because of all the other talented young designers out there, so I'm trying to push myself. The theme for the VDJ this year is to- in short-design something that reflects nature and sustainability. Below are some pictures I've found that I'm finding quite inspirational in terms of silhouette, creativity and Current trendiness.
